Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter. She has released more than 20 studio albums. Her music is categorized as folk, alternative and rock but she also draws influences of jazz and hip-hop. Ani DiFranco is widely recognized as a feminist icon, and Grammy-winning artist is considered the founder of DIY music. She was among the very first musicians to start their own labels in 1990.
