Ellie Goulding's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 Hereford England) She is an English Songwriter and Singer. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound swiftly brought her to the top charts once she was noticed by people in the year 2010. She was able to do this with the singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a standout contemporary artist with her soprano voice and talent for writing songs that are both catchy and emotional. She is similar to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other musicians of the same ilk. Polydor Records signed her to one of their record labels and she began preparing for the release of her debut album.
